CASA stands for Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children, a nonprofit organization dedicated to advocating for abused and neglected children involved in the foster care system. Locally, Paulding CASA trains and supports volunteers who are appointed by a judge to represent a child’s best interests in court.
CASA volunteers serve as consistent, trusted adults during uncertain seasons of a child’s life—ensuring their voice is heard and their needs are prioritized.
